On September 12, the third edition of the international jiu-jitsu tournament - AJP Tour Abu Dhabi Grand Slam took place in Moscow at the “Temple” of Sambo, Sambo 70.
Distinguished guests attended the opening ceremony, including the UAE Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Dr. Mohammad Ahmad Al-Jaber, Founder of Coffeemania Mr. Igor Zhuravelev, Mr.Abdulla Almarzooqi, Deputy Head of the Russia & CIS Office of Mubadala Investment Company and the famous American film actor, Special Representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Steven Seagal among other VIP guests who were hosted by Brick partners.
The event was attended by the best athletes in the world - more than 200 representatives from 17 countries, and organized by Brick along with the professional sports organization for jujitsu Abu Dhabi JuiJitsu Pro (AJP), operating under the auspices of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation.
The director of the Abu Dhabi Professional Jiu-Jitsu Association and the director of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Tours noted that the first place winner in any category of the Moscow Tour competition will receive 2000 points in the annual world ranking.
They added that the total prize money for this tournament is $ 225,000 for the first places in all categories and that the competition will be conducted in full compliance with the accepted precautions and medical protocol approved by the Organizing Committee and the Russian health authorities.
